The enterprise was established in 2011 and currently has 3 ‘Directors’ who currently make up the co-operative Board, voted for by our members, plus one advisor. Investors in shares were automatically registered as members but others can join at any time, and have equal benefits. It’s one member one vote, a principal at the core of co-operation. Members can:
…vote in the election of Directors at the Annual General Meeting
…propose and vote for projects to receive Sunshine Grants
…be kept up to date with what St John’s Sunshine is doing for Old Trafford
…stand for election as a Director and help make decisions about the enterprise if elected
…learn about the way the enterprise works
…volunteer to provide administration, accounting or other skills
…attend occasional events and contribute to discussions
…be part of something truly bright!
